White sandy beaches like San Vincenzo and Baratti, alternate with the darker beaches of Marina di Castagneto, Cecina and with cliffs carved by the wind, where the depths of the sea are full of fish.
A short distance to the ports of Livorno and Piombino, from which you can reach the islands of Elba, Capraia and Giglio to enjoy their crystal clear water and discover small bays and charming coves.
THE BOLGHERI DOC WINE ROAD
Among olive groves and vineyards, runs one of the most important and beautiful of the Wine Roads of the Etruscan Coast. Produced here are Bolgheri DOC wines such as Sassicaia , Ornellaia amongs the best in the world, along with many other quality wine productions. In this corner of Tuscany are three Doc areas: Montescudaio, Bolgheri and Val di Cornia.
This is "the Eldorado of Italian wine" here and has its roots in the generous nature, climate, and the special talent of local producers.
Go along the Wine Road, a really beautiful route, with woods and hills on one side, and the sea on the other side, find farms, wineries, churches and castles.
It will be pleasant to stop along the way and go for a walk to visit the wine cellars to taste the excellent red and white wines, and the fragrant extra virgin olive oil which has a particular and intense flavor here.
MEDIEVAL VILLAGES
Lying on the gentle hills overlooking the sea, or immersed in the countryside, the medieval villages of the Etruscan Coast have ancient historical and cultural traditions. Castagneto Carducci, Bolgheri, Suvereto, Campiglia Marittima, Bibbona, Sassetta, Rosignano Marittimo, Piombino and Populonia still retain the testimony of a rich history of civilization and the charms of ancient times. Follow cobblestone streets and visit the splendid architecture, ancient churches, palaces, churches, theaters, museums.

ARCHAEOLOGY
Charming Etruscan settlements by the sea like the archaeological park of Baratti-Populonia, museums rich with Etruscan and Roman findings like those of Rosignano Marittimo, Cecina and Piombino, numerous archaeological areas and exhibitions bear witness to the importance of history on Etruscan Coast. In the archaeo-mining park of San Silvestro, at Venturina, a real opencast museum, the various phases of metal working by the Etruscans to the Middle Ages can be reconstructed, thanks to organized tours.

‘Il Cavallino Matto’ at Marina di Castagneto or in nature parks like ‘Il Carapax’ at Massa Marittima or the ‘Gallorose’ park at Cecina
SPAS
The spas on the Etruscan Coast offer a combination of health treatments and relaxing holidays. The Valle del Sole spa in Venturina, in the Val di Cornia, a stone’s throw from the sea and medieval villages, together with the Calidario ones all offer health and beauty treatments for your total well-being.
